Another week! This week it's time to take out the trash... (You'll see what I mean!)
The prison figures from Zombicide have been completed. These are groups yellow and pink, for the colors used on some highlights.
I also completed two abominations, one from the basic game and one from Prison Outbreak. I am pretty happy with the red armored portions of the prison abomination, I like how it turned out.
|ABOMINATIONS! (Slipped into a 40K inquisitor voice there.)|
Needing some food, I added a survivor. This is a Dark Reaper Chronoscope figure, Jake Ryan
, he is based on a Secret Weapons ruined street base. I have him in a fairly plain outfit, I figure he may have been a police detective or something before the apocalypse.
Finally, I painted up some scatter terrain from Malifaux. The set is Suburb Props
, and is a set of various refuse containers and two sets of wooden crates. They have fair detail and painted up pretty quickly. To be fair, I had primed these some time ago, but finished them this week.
The whole week together, terrain and all was pretty productive. More zombies than survivors by a wide margin, but at least I managed one more survivor.
|More zombies for the horde!|
One week to go for Zomtober! It's been great seeing everyone's progress. I can't wait to see where we finish!
Wow! Very productive week, love the scatter terrain and of course all the zombie goodness :-)ReplyDelete
Thanks! It was a good week.Delete
Great looking zombies and scatter terrain!ReplyDelete
Thank you. The terrain was a fun break from zombies.Delete
Another amazing week and that trash looks amazing set with the zombies.ReplyDelete
The trash terrain makes a good add for modern gaming. No place after the apocalypse is going to be very clean!Delete
The trash looks excellent! The street props are good too :-) . Hmm, I've got that Malifaux set; I must get around to painting it...ReplyDelete
ha! Yes I got it. ;) Thanks for a laugh!Delete
Wow, you have been busy! You've once more increased the horde magnificently. I do like your mass-produced groups- great idea having a set 'palette for' for each group, still wouldn't have the 'abominations in a game though.ReplyDelete
I agree the abominations will probably never see the table for my ATZ games. I couldn't stand leaving a couple of figs unpainted with the rest of the Zombicide figs. Who knows, maybe I'll put one out for something different.Delete
Productive indeed! I like your colour palette on the Zombies, especially the Abominations. Doing a quick count your survivor may have more than he bargained for, assuming both hand-guns are fully loaded. I also have that Malifeaux terrain set, may need to revisit getting those items done myself!ReplyDelete
Thank you! Painting the zombies in bright colors, and a grey/green skin, then a good brown/red wash does the trick. I'm pretty happy with the overall effect. The terrain is great, you should get it done if you can. Nice models.Delete
Another excellent week, and again I marvel at your productivity and the quality. All the minis look ace, the trash included.ReplyDelete
Very well done. :)
Wow, thanks! It's all in the wash, it makes the job easier.Delete
Lovely work really like the trashcans they add a lot to the tables feel and obviously look.ReplyDelete
Thanks! It's hard painting trash. I mean, it's trash, how good should it look?Delete
